Sales Engineer - Additives
Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the sales of coating and printing ink related additives (Dispersants, Defoamers and Surface additives etc.) in the East China region;

2. Identify potential opportunities, build up relationship with customers, accomplish sales target according to the plan/budget;

3. Coordinate all related sales topics both externally and internally, including but not limited to contracts, collection, forecast and documentation etc.;

4. Provide inputs on pricing according to market intelligence on price trends, consumption and competition analysis, and customer profiles to ensure margins.

5. Communicate effectively to keep the management well informed about the market. Report fully, regularly and in the proper format according to Hexa's procedures and standards.

6. Monitor competitors’ activity and technical developments. Keep well informed about industry technical developments, new applications and new products.

7. Follow up closely the complaints (both quality and service) and provide valid input to get it solved without losing business;

8. Execute any additional assignment from the management team;

 

Job requirements:

1. College degree or above, majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or polymer;

2. Must be skilled in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.;

3. Preferably 3-5 years sales or technical experience in the coating or ink industries;

4. Self starter, entrepreneurial, smart, passionate young people with rock-solid integrity;

5. Must be willing to travel frequently (60% - 80% per month).

6. Driving license/experience is a plus;
